Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Automation Support

A Mechanical Engineer with 2+ years of industrial experience is required to join the European Technical Centre of Technical Futures Ltd to provide technical support for their range of automation products. The successful candidate will also be responsible for delivering training and investigating product claims.

The ideal candidate will hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, possess excellent documentation skills, and have strong problem-solving abilities. A full UK driving license and Passport are also required for occasional travel within the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for automation products
  • Deliver training to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Investigate product claims and resolve technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product design and functionality
Requirements:
  • 2.1 or higher Mechanical Engineering degree
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Strong analytical skills to solve technical problems
  • Good CAD skills, preferably in SolidWorks
  • Experience with machined parts and small assemblies
  • Familiarity with CE, UKCA, and UL standards
  • Ability to write detailed technical documentation and reports
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering
