About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Account Director to join our team at Mckenna Townsend. As a key member of our agency, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Social Media Strategies: Create and implement annual and monthly social media plans to enhance brand image, boost engagement, and improve conversion rates for clients.
  • Client Account Management: Take a proactive approach to client account management, building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients.
  • Lead Social Media Campaigns: Oversee the planning, design, execution, and monitoring of social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Content Creation and Management: Work with the in-house creative team to curate and manage multimedia content, including writing engaging copy and developing audience profiles.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track social media channel performance, providing detailed reports and actionable insights to clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in a senior social media management role, ideally within an agency environment.
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrable experience leading and managing high-performing social media campaigns, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and related tools.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
