As a Senior General Practice Accountant, you will work with a variety of clients across multiple sectors, including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, audits, and providing exceptional client service.

The key responsibilities for the Senior General Practice Accountant include:

  • Preparing FRS 105 and FRS 102(1a) accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, and bookkeeping for various clients
  • Assisting in complex accounting tasks, including audits, group consolidations, and charity accounts
  • Managing audit assignments, including planning, fieldwork, and review stages, while guiding junior staff
  • Overseeing client communications, work schedules, and ensuring timely completion of assignments

The requirements for the Senior General Practice Accountant are:

  • Progress towards ACCA or ACA qualification
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (Excel, Word, CCH, etc.)
  • Valid driving license with access to a car
