About the Role
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Support Practitioner to join our team at Todhill Services in Stevenston. As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities with all aspects of their life, including personal care, cooking, household tasks, and attending appointments.
- Use various communication tools to meet the individuals' needs, including those with complex communication needs.
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a safe and supportive environment for individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities.
Requirements
- No care experience is necessary, but previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver's license (not essential, but preferred).
