About the Role

We are seeking a Bank Support Practitioner to join our team at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland. As a Bank Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities with all aspects of their life, including personal care, cooking, household tasks, shopping, and attending appointments.
  • Use different communication tools to meet the individuals' needs, including those with complex communication needs.
  • Work as part of a committed team to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities.
  • Participate in the development of individual support plans and contribute to the ongoing assessment and review of these plans.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare professionals, to ensure the best possible outcomes for individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities.

Requirements
  • No care experience is necessary, but previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with individuals with Autism and associated complex learning disabilities.
  • Ability to use different communication tools to meet the individuals' needs.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
