Hourly Rate: £24.53-£31.32

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide contract management expertise in managing directorate contracts, developing and implementing strategies to meet service needs and ensure proper control of cost and process.
  • Lead areas of procurement within allocated responsibility with support of key stakeholders, such as Commissioning Team, Legal, and Corporate Procurement colleagues.
  • Work effectively as part of the team and Division by engaging with team/division members in the effective execution of projects.
  • Project manage individual procurement exercises within the post holder's area of work to ensure contracts are delivered in a timely fashion, within budget, and to the quality standards required.
  • Work proactively and productively within the team to ensure required procurement standards are consistently applied.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding of equality, social inclusion, and sustainability in the procurement framework.
  • Knowledge, experience, and understanding of working in a homelessness, housing, health, or social care context and understanding the strategic relationships between homelessness, housing, and adult social care services.
