Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Change Manager to join our dynamic team at Companies House. As a key member of our Change team, you will play a vital role in supporting our transformational change journey, working closely with operational colleagues, service owners, and business owners to assess change readiness and deliver change in a structured way.

As a Change Manager, you will be responsible for conducting effective change impact and readiness assessments, undertaking stakeholder analysis, and working with our project centre community to integrate and track change deliverables and milestones in project/programme plans. You will also manage stakeholder relationships, use insights to inform targeted and tailored engagement and communication plans, and work with delivery partners to develop plans that ensure the business and our people are change ready.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct change impact and readiness assessments to understand the impacts on our people.
  • Undertake stakeholder analysis to inform our change management plans and strategy.
  • Work with our project centre community to integrate and track change deliverables and milestones in project/programme plans.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and use insights to inform targeted and tailored engagement and communication plans.
  • Work with delivery partners to develop plans that ensure the business and our people are change ready.
Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced change professional with a passion for change and an understanding of supporting people through complex change journeys. With knowledge and proven experience of using change management principles, methodologies, and tools, you will be resilient, able to work at pace and under pressure, with a high degree of emotional intelligence and empathy.

You will be flexible and adaptable, comfortable working in ambiguity, with exceptional listening and communication skills, able to articulate messages to a variety of audiences, including senior stakeholders. You will be proactive, organised, and able to work autonomously, approachable and able to create an inclusive environment that brings different perspectives together.

A confident facilitator with the ability to influence/engage positively at all levels, you will have a growth mindset and a desire to challenge established practices. You will also have a change management qualification such as APMG, or PROSCI, or equivalent demonstrable experience of managing change.
