This role is pivotal in championing the safety and well-being of students across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining a robust safeguarding culture and ensuring compliance with evolving policies and standards.

About the Role
  • This is an on-site role, split between head office and schools, where you will work closely with social services and external partners to provide sector-leading support.

You will play a key role in managing safeguarding concerns, supporting staff training, and reporting to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) across all sites.
  • Handling safeguarding cases and referrals.
  • Attending child protection conferences and strategy meetings.
  • Conducting staff inductions and overseeing CP/CIN/CLA cases.
  • Maintaining and using school systems for documentation and tracking.
  • Supporting attendance initiatives and fostering engagement with families.

We offer a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a dynamic environment that values career progression and development.
