**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Safeguarding Advisor to join our Transformation Unit in Barking, Dagenham, and Havering. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Safeguarding and Named Professionals for Safeguarding Children.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Work closely with the Head of Safeguarding and Named Professionals for Safeguarding Children to ensure staff can access advice and support readily.
  • Participate in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of safeguarding training.
  • Attend safeguarding children meetings as the representative for the Transformation Unit.
  • Deputise for the Named Professional as directed.

**Requirements:**

  • Registered Nurse, Social Worker, or Allied Health Professional
  • Current registration with NMC or HCPC
  • Minimum of two years' experience post registration
  • Experience of interagency work

**Benefits:**
