About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Safeguarding and Family Support Service Team at Southwark Children's Services. The successful candidate will have a strong background in social work, with a focus on safeguarding and family support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality social work services to families, assessing complex needs and developing plans to support them.
  • To work collaboratively with other professionals, such as police officers and healthcare workers, to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.
  • To develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and community organizations to access resources and support for families.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: QSW Status, Social Work England Registration, and completed ASYE.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Knowledge of childcare legislation, statutory guidance, and working together to safeguard children.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary for this position is between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer double payrolls each week and a range of other benefits.
