Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Contract Manager to join our team at Ascend Consulting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring that all agreements comply with legal, regulatory, and organisational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contract Management: Develop and implement effective contract management processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organisational standards.
  3. Policy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement policies that align with legal and regulatory requirements.
  4. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks associated with contracts and regulatory compliance, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  5. Contractual Compliance: Ensure that all contracts and agreements are compliant with organisational policies and procedures.
  6. GDPR Compliance: Ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with GDPR regulations.
  7. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and reports on contract management and regulatory compliance.
  8. Liaison and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective contract management and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
  1. Legal or Compliance Experience: Proven experience in legal or compliance roles, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  2. Contract Management Experience: Proven experience in contract management, with a strong understanding of contract lifecycle management.
  3. Compliance Auditing: Experience in compliance auditing, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective contract management and regulatory compliance.
  5. Project Management: Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project lifecycle management.
  6. Gaming Knowledge Desirable: Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance.
Desirable Skills:
  1. Contract Management Skills: Strong contract management skills, including contract reviewing and attention to detail.
  2. Compliance Expertise: Strong compliance expertise, including regulatory knowledge (i.e. GDPR).
  3. Familiar with Internal Audits: Familiarity with internal audits and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
