The Role

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the South East region. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of commercial and surveying aspects of new-build/install, refurbishment, and design and build/install projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor commercial aspects of projects, ensuring accurate cost control and maximising profitability.
  • Attend handover meetings to receive project information from the estimating/sales department.
  • Produce and manage Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and cost control documents.
  • Identify and secure reimbursement of variations to the contracted scope of works.
  • Participate in risk identification and develop mitigation strategies with the project team.
  • Produce valuations, applications, and claims in line with contract requirements.
Requirements

You will have a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field and post-qualification experience in commercial projects. A track record of package negotiation and experience working with main contractors and sub-contractors is essential.
