About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Specialist to join our team at Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced nurse to take on a leadership role in our pediatric department.

Job Overview

As a Pediatric Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced clinical care to children and their families. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care to children and their families, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practice in pediatric care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of education programs for patients, families, and staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in nursing and registration with the NMC as a Children's Nurse.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a pediatric setting, preferably in a leadership or specialist role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and staff at all levels.
  • The ability to think critically and make sound judgments in complex situations.
