Job Title: Senior Childcare Manager

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Childcare Manager to lead our brand-new Residential Children's Home in Coventry. Our client provides specialist care for children with learning disabilities, ASD, and associated needs, prioritizing their well-being and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  2. Foster a nurturing environment where young people can flourish and develop their potential.
  3. Provide leadership and supervision to staff members, promoting professional growth and development.
  4. Collaborate with external stakeholders to facilitate opportunities for further education and career advancement for young residents.
  5. Uphold the company ethos of prioritizing the well-being and development of young people.

Requirements:

  1. QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (to be obtained within 3 years of starting to manage the children's home)
  2. OR Registered Managers Award/NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Management
  3. OR Relevant management qualification (equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma).
  4. Minimum of 2 years in a management position within residential care of children in the last 5 years.
  5. Minimum of 1 year experience of line management/staff supervision of staff in a care role Management in a relevant residential care setting.
  6. Worked within Ofsted inspection framework.
