About the Role

DN Colleges Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transactional Finance Manager to join its Finance department. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all monetary transactions coming in and out of the College Group, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage the sales ledger, credit control, cash/bank transactions, and purchase ledger, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Lead and coach a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the integrity of the General Ledger and associated reconciliations, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
  • Develop and implement internal controls, process improvements, and cash flow forecasting to support the Group's financial management.
  • Drive the month-end close of the ledgers and associated reporting/analysis, providing detailed financial information to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Relevant accounting qualification and prior experience in managing sales, purchase, and general ledger processes.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and finance software.
  • Self-motivated and analytical, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
