The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring food safety, GMP, and QA checks are carried out as specified within work instructions, HACCP, and process control documents. This includes completion of hourly checks and audits on production lines, daily calibration of temperature probes and weighing scales, and monthly glass and plastic audits.

As a Product Quality Control Specialist, you will support the production team by providing technical support, such as CCP and traceability. You will also operate in a safe working manner and contribute to continuous improvement relating to health, safety, and the environment.

This role requires previous experience in a FMCG business, with a fully proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Food Safety Level 2 in Manufacturing and HACCP Level 2 are essential qualifications. Allergen Awareness Level 2 and understanding of BRC are desirable.

The salary for this position is estimated at £26,000 - £28,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location. Benefits include a Monday to Friday schedule, 40 hours per week, with morning and afternoon shifts.
