Compassionate Homecare Worker

Creative Support is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Homecare Worker to join our team in Carlisle. In this role, you will provide emotional and practical support to older adults in their own homes and in residential care homes. Your primary goal will be to promote independence, maintain dignity, and encourage inclusion among service users, some of whom live with dementia.
Your responsibilities will encompass supporting residents with personal care needs, household tasks, medication management, diet and nutrition, healthy living, and social activities. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate a high level of understanding and empathy to support individuals with dementia, as well as strong communication skills.
We offer a generous salary of £24,000 per annum for this Relief Support Worker position, which provides flexibility to suit your schedule. This is ideal for managing personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities while maintaining a fulfilling career.
