Job Title: Support Worker for Individuals with Learning Disabilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our service users to live independently, promote their rights and responsibilities, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, including personal care, housekeeping, and promoting independence.
  • Work collaboratively with service users, families, and colleagues to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for service users, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our services, suggesting positive changes and implementing new ways of working.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
