Surface Operations Specialist

As a Surfacing Operative at Breedon Group plc, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering high-quality asphalt surfacing services throughout the UK. This role requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong sense of teamwork, and a flexible approach to work. Your success will be driven by your ability to consistently complete tasks on time, taking pride in delivering a product of superior quality and having a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a team of experienced operatives to carry out tasks as directed by the Foreman.
• Actively help experienced members in their roles, upholding professional work practices and adhering to company rules, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Report any accidents, incidents, near misses, issues, or concerns to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
• CSCS / CPCS qualifications desirable.
• Driving licence preferred.
• Ability to show initiative and be actively involved with daily tasks without being prompted.
• Enthusiasm and passion to develop through the role to become a multi-skilled surfacing operative.
