Veterinary Care Specialist

GLG Vets is seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Surgeon to enhance our team in St. Ives.
We offer a competitive salary package of £50,000 - £72,000 per year, including a generous CPD allowance and company pension scheme.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves working 4 days a week with two shifts: 8:15am - 6:15pm and 9am - 7pm, as well as one to two operating days per week and 1:4 Saturdays. No out-of-hours work is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional veterinary care and treatment to a diverse range of animals.
- Perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff.
- Ensure the clinic runs efficiently during your shifts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care is preferred.
