CADAS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist to support residents in Westmorland & Furness from our offices in Kendal or Barrow-in-Furness. This role involves managing a caseload and guiding clients through recovery from problematic substance use or addictions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating assessment plans, delivering psychosocial interventions, and providing ongoing support from referral to sustained recovery and aftercare. Sessions can be conducted face-to-face, over the phone, or via video call.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of clients with diverse needs
  • Develop and implement individualized assessment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based psychosocial interventions
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance throughout the recovery process

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a flexible environment that values work-life balance. The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum.
