About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic individual to join our team as a Housekeeper at Anchor Hanover. As a key member of our care home team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our residents' living environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the location is clean, pleasant, and safe for customers in their home environment or communal areas.
  • Use cleaning products effectively, following instructions and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Report to the Location Manager and work collaboratively with the team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our residents' needs and preferences to provide a personalized cleaning service.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in cleaning and care.

Requirements

  • Customer service NVQ2 or equivalent experience.
  • Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of equipment.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and empathy skills, with a friendly and approachable personality.
  • Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and the safeguarding of vulnerable adults.
