BioWatt are looking for a **Site Operator** based at one of our sites in Buntigford, working in a team operating this and sites in Thaxted and Basildon. This is an enjoyable and varied role as part of a hard working operations team, with excellent opportunities for personal development and career growth.

We are operators of biogas plants, producing renewable gas and electricity. Renewable energy demand is growing worldwide, so this is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company with exciting long term prospects. Training will be provided - including specialised training courses and online training to help you grow in the role.

The role requires regular travel to other "team" sites at Thaxted and Basildon. A company van is provided for inter site travel. Ideally you will be based within 30-40 minutes of both sites, however this is flexible.

You will report to the Operations Manager. The role requires occasional working hours at weekends in rota with your operations team members. Once you have completed your training, the role requires you to be on-call (on rota) to respond to alarms and faults if they occur. Overtime and call-out fees are offered as part of the package.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily operation, cleaning and checks of equipment
- Daily site equipment checks using our dedicated operations management system
- Light maintenance of equipment and systems
- Site housekeeping - maintaining a safe working environment
- Stock control of spare parts
- SCADA monitoring and control
- Record performance values, analyse trends

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Telehandler (or similar mobile plant) experience - **preferred**:

- Full UK Driving Licence - **essential**

Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
