Forklift Driver/yardman/woman

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to load, unload, and move materials within our warehouse. This is a vital role in our operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and maintaining a safe working environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials from trucks
- Transport materials to designated areas within the warehouse
- Stack and organize products in the appropriate storage locations
- Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording incoming and outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Proficient in operating various types of forklifts
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
- Basic mathematical skills for inventory management purposes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Mechanical knowledge for minor equipment repairs is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internships.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per hour
