About the Role:

Chevron Green Services is seeking a skilled Vegetation Management Operative to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional vegetation management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cyclical grass cutting between March and October
  • Grass cutting via the use of tractors with front and side arm flails, remote control bank mowers, ride on mowers, specialist machinery such as reforms and barrier mowers, and of course brush cutters
  • Weed control
  • Tree and hedge work, whether that be hazardous tree removal, sign and CCTV clearance and hedgerow maintenance or reduction outside of bird nesting season
  • Path clearance
  • Planting schemes including complete de-vegetation of ditches or other infrastructures
  • Complete de vegetation for new structures and roads
  • Jet washing
  • Other ad-hoc tasks that helps our clients.

What We're Looking For:

  • You do NOT need to be experienced in highways or vegetation management works, although it would be beneficial
  • We would like you to have a basic understanding of health & safety
  • Physically able and the ability to pass or already hold a Safety Critical Medical
  • Full UK driving license with less than 6 points
  • Enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude
