This role involves constructing and operating a new ultrafast laser laboratory for biological imaging applications, focusing on high-flux water window X-ray pulses and coherent scattering chamber development.

As a Senior Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will work with a state-of-the-art femtosecond laser source and oversee the development of efficient methods for generating highly-coherent soft X-rays.

The institute offers a competitive salary from £45,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, plus benefits including 25 days' holiday, generous pension scheme, and training opportunities.
