Autism Support Teaching Assistant

Protocol Education is recruiting an experienced Autism Support Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting students with Autism in a Year 6 setting, and will be passionate about delivering high-quality support to enhance their learning experiences.
About the Role:
- Work alongside the teacher and other support staff to create a safe and inclusive learning environment for students with Autism.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students with Autism.
- Provide targeted support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals.
- Collaborate with the school's SENCO and psychologists to ensure that students receive comprehensive support and guidance.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with students with Autism or other special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience and understanding, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Right to work in the UK and relevant qualifications or training.
