Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Information Officer to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting workstreams as part of our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) implementation project.

The successful candidate will have a special interest and demonstrable experience in one of the following areas: Emergency Department, In-patient, Intensive Care Unit and Theatres. You will be responsible for ensuring nursing adoption and engagement in the use of technology, driving continuous clinical process improvement, and developing clinical information that supports and enhances nursing practice and organisational efficiency.

Main Duties of the Job

  • Lead and support workstreams as part of the EPR implementation project
  • Ensure nursing adoption and engagement in the use of technology
  • Drive continuous clinical process improvement in the Nursing and Midwifery divisions
  • Develop clinical information that supports and enhances nursing practice and organisational efficiency

Person Specification

  • Relevant professional/clinical qualification (RN)
  • First level degree in related healthcare discipline
  • Evidence of a Master's degree relevant to role or equivalent experience
  • Teaching/Mentorship qualification
  • Clinical Safety Officer Practitioner or willingness to undertake
