Early Years Bank Staff

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Bright Horizons Practitioner. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to our children.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional care and education to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Support the observation and assessment process, working in partnership with parents to ensure the needs of all children are met.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Bright Horizons curriculum, ensuring a child-centred approach to learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to regulatory standards and policies.
- Provide excellent communication and partnership with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team, ensuring essential day-to-day tasks are completed.
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding children.
- Passion for ongoing learning and personal development.
- Experience as a key person.
- Current 12-hour paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Knowledge of the early years curriculum and regulatory requirements.
- Level 1 childcare qualification (desirable).
- 12 hours paediatric first aid (can be completed as part of induction).
- Food Hygiene or equivalent training and compliance in food management (can be completed as part of induction).
- Able to communicate clearly with adults and children using a variety of techniques.
- Ability to support and inspire children in achieving the highest standards of care and education.
- Able to manage workload and manage time effectively.
