About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Bright Horizons as a key member of our Early Years staff. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and education to our young children, ensuring their developmental needs are met and their safety is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Support the observation and assessment of children's development, working in partnership with parents and colleagues to ensure their needs are met.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting emotional well-being and supporting children's social and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in Early Years education.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Early Years education, with a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the nursery.
  • Passion for ongoing learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in Early Years education.
