This dynamic role offers the chance to contribute to a critical project, working closely with the Test & Facilities Capability (T&FC) team.

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Governance and Assurance Specialist to join our Platform Systems Governance and Assurance team.

You will be responsible for managing governance and assurance activities on behalf of the T&FC, developing and maintaining processes that support the entire engineering lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of managing engineering and quality governance activities within a complex software environment, knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and exposure to Engineering Management Plans/Business Management systems/Operational Frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage emerging or existing compliance risks related to Engineering and Quality standards
  • Assist in the creation and management of a risk-based audit schedule, supporting inspections and recertification processes
  • Support the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the T&FC Operational Framework and Code of Practice
  • Continuously review T&FC's governance structures and arrangements to ensure they promote appropriate levels of responsibility, accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in a STEM related subject
  • Proven experience of managing engineering and quality governance activities within a complex software environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001
  • Exposure to Engineering Management Plans/Business Management systems/Operational Frameworks

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is approximately £48,000-£60,000 dependent on skills and experience, with additional benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
