Learning and Development Officer

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Officer to join our team on a 6 month fixed term basis. The purpose of this role is to provide an exceptional learning and development experience for our employees and ensure efficient running of related systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all learning and development enquiries, escalating to the Learning & OD Manager as appropriate.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (Litmos) on a day-to-day basis to create and manage training events, as well as monitoring compliance and maintaining individual training records on the HR Information System (Natural HR).
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate information relating to learning and development on internal communications platforms, write promotional items and otherwise promote learning events using our communication channels.
  • Participate in learning and development projects as appropriate, this may include launching new features in a system.

Requirements:

  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in using various systems such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Performance Management Systems, and HR Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Accurate data inputting, record-keeping skills, and excellent organizational and time management abilities, including the capacity to multi-task and work independently.
  • A passionate advocate for learning and development, demonstrating a commitment to their own self-development.
