Job Title: Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our team in Catterick. As a Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of design proposals, ensuring they meet customer/employer requirements.

Duties of the Design Manager
  • Assist in the management of design proposals, ensuring they meet customer/employer requirements.
  • Implement the TD digital protocols and client BIM deliverables.
  • Monitor responsibilities for the scheme against the project design responsibilities matrix.
  • Manage the Design Team, including M&E elements, and ensure they meet all customer specifications.
  • Facilitate forums and processes that engage with the commercial and operational teams.
  • Conduct QA/Initial design reviews of information received.
  • Manage the design deliverables programme.
  • Facilitate meetings relating to design delivery.
  • Be aware and assist in the management of sustainability deliverables for the scheme.
  • Liaise with document project document control.
Requirements
  • Awareness of the principles of construction and the ability to work effectively in a project team.
  • CAD knowledge is preferable but not essential.
  • Strong time management and a structured approach to work.
