About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Stockroom Assistant to join our team at the British Heart Foundation. As a key member of our retail operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our stores are well-stocked and our customers have an excellent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and move furniture and appliances deliveries to the stockroom
  • Ensure the shop floor is always well-stocked and visually appealing
  • Work in line with safety regulations and promote health, safety, and wellbeing in everything you do
  • Identify unsaleable donations for recycling and maintain a tidy stockroom
What We're Looking For
  • A previous retail or warehouse environment is not essential, but a keen eye for detail and a passion for organization is a must
  • Confidence in working within a team and guiding the activity of volunteers
  • Ability to work well under pressure and on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment
