Job Summary

The British Heart Foundation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Assistant to join our team in Dover. As a Stockroom Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stockroom, handling and moving furniture and appliances, and maintaining a well-stocked shop floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and move the delivery of furniture and appliances that arrive in our stores
  • Ensure the shop floor is always well stocked
  • Work in line with safety regulations and promote health, safety, and wellbeing in everything you do
  • Identify unsaleable donations for recycling
  • Keep the stockroom organized and tidy

Requirements
  • Previous retail experience is not essential, but a keen eye for detail and ability to work independently are essential
  • Confidence in working within a team and guiding the activity of volunteers
  • Ability to work well under pressure and on your own initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail in everything you do
