Stockroom Coordinator

The British Heart Foundation is seeking a skilled Stockroom Assistant to join our team in Dover. As a key member of our retail operation, you will be responsible for sorting, checking, and making the most out of the variety of donations we receive behind the scenes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Handling and moving the delivery of furniture and appliances that arrive in our stores
• Ensuring the shop floor is always well stocked
• Working in line with safety regulations and promoting health, safety, and wellbeing in everything you do
• Identifying unsaleable donations for recycling
• Keeping the stockroom organized and tidy

Please note, this role can be physically demanding and moving a high volume of donation bags.

You will be given lots of autonomy in your role and will strive to continually build your knowledge of the British Heart Foundation.

We are looking for someone who is confident working within a team and able to guide the activity of volunteers. You will work well under pressure and on your own initiative in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is essential in everything you do.
