About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Lift Repair Engineer to join our team at Otis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our elevators and escalators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings to diagnose and repair issues with our equipment.
  • Perform planned and unplanned maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments on our lifts and escalators.
  • Problem-solve and find effective solutions to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
  • Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure excellent communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Work on a variety of projects, including contractual repairs and quoted work.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3, J-Module, or equivalent qualification.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of various lift and escalator makes and models.
  • Be able to apply lift engineering principles to achieve continuous lift operation.
  • Have experience with escalators or be willing to learn.
  • Be part of a call-out rota and willing to join our out-of-hours rota.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
