About the Role

Poundstretcher is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our small, busy HR team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of an effective HR function by providing top-level administration services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee data, including personnel files, benefits, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding processes.
  • Provide support for employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including open enrollment, benefits communications, and COBRA administration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee attendance, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and address HR-related issues and concerns.
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HR administration or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
