We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join our team at Stride Resource Management Ltd. As a key member of our commercial broking team, you will be responsible for managing new business enquiries and client renewals, including the re-marketing of policies and issuing renewal documentation within the time scales set out by the FCA.
Key Responsibilities- Manage new business enquiries and client renewals, including the re-marketing of policies and issuing renewal documentation within the time scales set out by the FCA.
- Handle incoming client queries, advising on policy coverage and/or changes to their cover.
- Develop relationships with key insurer markets.
- Work alongside the field sales team (account executives) and the wider team to provide a broking service and assist in the preparation of client reports.
- Cross-sell/up-sell to existing clients, identifying any potential gaps in cover or policies held elsewhere.
- Contribute towards the team's revenue goals, both for renewal retention and new business.
- Commercial insurance multi-class product knowledge.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Customer service and sales-focused.
- Acturis experience is not essential but would be beneficial.
- Cert CII or willingness to work towards.
