Amplifi Talent is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join its team. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise in financial management, accounting, and budgeting to drive business success.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, monthly financial reporting, budget preparation, and internal control policies. You will work closely with the Head of Finance to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and profitability.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports for operational management, including review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts.
  • Assist in the production of statutory accounts for the company in accordance with relevant accounting principles and current legislation for interim and year-end audit.
  • Provide relevant and timely financial information to the Board and Departmental Heads to enable a balanced and objective assessment of the company's position.
  • Forecasting and providing commentary and variance analysis monthly to key stakeholders.
  • Oversee monthly processing of payroll and expense payments to employees.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience (minimum 2 years post-qualification).
  • Strong financial modelling and excel skills using up-to-date analytical forecasting tools.
  • Brilliant problem-solving and analytical skills gained in a financial environment.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across the business to support and challenge key financial assumptions.
  • Effective communication skills, with ability to convey detailed data-driven analysis in a simple, clear, and concise form.

Salary and Benefits:

  1. $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  2. Pension scheme (Employee 5% Company 3%), flexible hybrid working model, electric car salary sacrifice scheme, death in service benefit 4x salary, company sick pay.
  3. 20 days per calendar year plus 8 bank holidays.
