About the Role

West Northamptonshire Council is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Assistant to join our team at Obelisk House, a residential care home providing exceptional support for individuals with dementia and other care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents to maintain their independence and confidence, encouraging them to make choices and engage in activities that promote their well-being.
  • Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and medication administration, while respecting residents' dignity and autonomy.
  • Participate in arts, crafts, and other stimulating activities to promote socialization and engagement.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care and support.
  • Document resident care and concerns accurately, reporting any issues to senior staff members.
