Special Education Support Assistant

**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an amazing school in Bude. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
**Responsibilities:
- Implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and personalised learning strategies
- Collaborating with teachers and professionals to support students' learning and development
- Assisting with personal care tasks and helping learners develop social and emotional skills
**Requirements:**
- Experience working with students with speech and language disabilities and autism
- Knowledge of relevant teaching strategies and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children with SEN
**Salary:** £18,000 - £20,000 per annum
