About the Job

The East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Band 6 Senior Community Physiotherapist to join their Vascular and Surgical Therapy Team at Kent & Canterbury Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to progress your skills in vascular and amputee care, while supporting across surgery, ITU, and renal services as required.

Job Description
  • Main Duties:
  • Assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning for patients with complex needs and multi-pathology.
  • Line management of staff, including clinical supervision, and appraisal of Band 3-5 staff within the team.
  • To work as a member of the multi-professional team to provide high-quality therapy intervention to patients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration are essential qualifications for this role.
  • Previous experience in a relevant clinical area, preferably with 18 months post-graduate experience, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills, time management, and moving and handling skills are also required.
Estimated Salary: £38,890 - £44,036 per annum
