About the Role

Safety Assurance Specialist sought by Todd Hayes Ltd for QSSHE team in Norwich. Providing safety engineering support to clients SNS operation, ensuring compliance with UK QSSHE legislation, codes of practice, guidelines, industry standards and best practice.

This is a 12-month contract, working Monday to Friday. Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

You will require Higher technical qualification within engineering field, 10+ years' experience in Safety Engineering in Oil & Gas, MS Office and specific safety software knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Carrying out competent in-house safety studies to support operations and projects.
  2. Chairing and facilitating safety studies, e.g. Total Risk Management, HAZID, Bowtie, ALARP.
  3. Developing Barrier Diagrams (Bowties), consequence modelling using DNV GL PHAST or FLARESIM.
  4. Mini Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) including Event and Fault Tree development.

Please note that experience in design and operation, Chartered in mechanical, chemical/process engineering, and knowledge in COMAH regulations, Computational Fluid Dynamics Modelling are desirable.
