This is a 12-month contract, working Monday to Friday. Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
You will require Higher technical qualification within engineering field, 10+ years' experience in Safety Engineering in Oil & Gas, MS Office and specific safety software knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities- Carrying out competent in-house safety studies to support operations and projects.
- Chairing and facilitating safety studies, e.g. Total Risk Management, HAZID, Bowtie, ALARP.
- Developing Barrier Diagrams (Bowties), consequence modelling using DNV GL PHAST or FLARESIM.
- Mini Quantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) including Event and Fault Tree development.
Please note that experience in design and operation, Chartered in mechanical, chemical/process engineering, and knowledge in COMAH regulations, Computational Fluid Dynamics Modelling are desirable.
