We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Support Officer to join our team at Logistics Security. As a Security Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality guarding and excellent customer service to our clients and service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular and randomised searches on staff and visitors within the site.
  • Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the site.
  • Ensure accurate logging of goods vehicles entering or leaving the site.
  • Maintain close liaison with site contacts, colleagues, and the National Security Manager.
  • Monitor and operate various equipment, including phones, intercoms, radios, and email.
  • Assist in site evacuations and maintain strict Data Protection standards.
  • Carry out reasonable instructions issued by site management.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the security industry (1 year).
  • SIA Licence (SG/DS) required.
  • UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle required.
  • First aid certification preferred.
  • Flexibility to work a mixture of shifts, including some at short notice.
  • Physical fitness to patrol effectively by foot.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High standards of personal presentation and punctuality.
  • Computer/PC literacy.
