Job Title: Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Eric Morecambe House in Morecambe, Lancashire.

Job Summary:

The Catering Assistant will be responsible for delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring that all meals are prepared and presented to a high standard. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a catering environment and hold a Level 2 food safety certificate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure that all food is stored, handled, and cooked safely.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver a high-quality catering service.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Previous experience in a catering environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
