Job Title: Catering Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Eric Morecambe House in Morecambe, Lancashire.

Job Summary:

The Catering Assistant will be responsible for delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring that all meals are prepared and served to the highest standards. The successful candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensure that all food is stored, handled, and cooked safely, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver a seamless catering service.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
  • Assist with menu planning and preparation, ensuring that all dietary requirements are met.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Previous experience in a catering or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues and residents.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
