Remote Medical Claims Examiner Position

Job Title: Medical Claims Examiner

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Claims Examiner to join our team at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing professional and facility medical services claims by reviewing and inputting data into the claims payment system using standard policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

* Review and input data into the claims payment system using standard policies, procedures, and guidelines.

* Apply plan contract language and benefit coverages based on plan provisions with high quality while meeting production standards.

* Ensure timely processing of claims to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

* 3-5 years of claims processing experience and a minimum of 2 years of claims quality assurance experience.

* Strong research, problem-solving, and knowledge of contracts and Medicare regulations.

Benefits:

The University of Massachusetts Medical School offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
