The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Paint Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our paint shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of four, conducting regular appraisals, and providing training to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.

In addition to managing production and team performance, the Paint Shop Manager will also be responsible for overseeing quality control, implementing and maintaining health and safety practices across the paint shop, and managing inventory, including raw materials, paint shelf life, and purchasing requirements.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience with both wet and powder coating processes and the ability to identify areas for improvement. Experience with inventory and bills of materials is highly desirable.

You will also need to possess proven leadership qualities, with a track record of motivating and guiding teams to achieve business targets.
