Electrical Qualifying Supervisor

To ensure the highest quality standards in electrical installations for CCS Retrofit department, adhering to MCS Standards, NICEIC requirements, and 18th Edition wiring regulations. This role involves auditing and QC checks, reporting to central admin team leader and Head of planned works, and maintaining quality standards of the company through quality assurance checks and ensuring a high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a high-quality service to clients and their customers, demonstrating respect for all individuals and meeting challenges presented.
- Promote and maintain compliance with MCS and 18th edition standards across all electrical work.
- Provide timely and accurate defect reports to central admin for rectification of issues.
- Ensure continuous education of staff and lessons learned, aiding in upskilling and training of operatives on site.
- Engage with customers to promote CCS quality standards and education.
- Carry out intrusive testing and verification of results of retrofit.
- Clear each job from the handheld device and back office system, along with QC paperwork.
- Liaise with residents and CCS clients about the works being undertaken.
- Ensure all PPE is present and correct, and basic standards are always upheld on site.
- Liaise with project manager and assist with keeping the standards of the QMS and company quality manual.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
- Report to Senior Electrical QS on technical matters.
- Ensure all appointments are kept and CCS tenants/clients are kept informed.
- Carry out duties as required by any senior manager or member of staff representing such manager.
- Stay up to date with all codes of practice involving your given discipline.
- Carry out all reporting of variations to any works and updating administration department of changes to requirements on site.
- Responsible for engaging and attending all staff briefings and company functions.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Liaise with all other engineers and staff to ensure targets are reached, organizing production of a certificate or job sheet for all works, any other reports or records required for the works.
- Submit a valid and accurate timesheet, delivery notes, expenses, and any other documentation weekly.

- Essential qualifications: NICEIC MCS QS registration, C&G 2330 Level 3 apprenticeship completion or equivalent, AM2, NVQ level 3, C&G 2391, initial verification and periodic inspection or equivalent, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, BPEC qualification or equivalent in installation of Solar PV.
- General competence in the given trade.
- Punctuality, professionalism, flexibility, and working knowledge of Mobile PDA.
- Proven experience in the given trade.
- Experience of working within the Social Housing sector on installation projects and maintenance contracts.
- Experience of working with residents and clients directly.
- Clean UK driving license and DBS check required.
